Test Any Web Page Anywhere for Performance Issues
With Zoompf’s new Scanning Bookmarklet, you can quickly and easily scan your browser’s current web page using Zoompf’s free web performance scanning service. One simple click and a small dialog will appear on the current web page. Hit “yes” and Zoompf’s automated systems start scanning that website for over 300 performance issues.

Installation
A bookmarklet is just like a regular bookmark or link to a favorite web page and contain a little JavaScript magic that makes them special. Once you have added the special hyperlink for the Zoompf Scanning Bookmarklet to your browser’s bookmarks or favorites, a simple click will submit the website to Zoompf’s free web performance scanning service. We support a wide range of different web browsers and versions. You can even use IE6!
Firefox, Safari, Chrome, Opera
To install Zoompf’s Scanning Bookmarklet on Firefox, Safari, Chrome, or Opera, simply drag the special hyperlink below onto your browser’s bookmarks or favorites toolbar. A picture below illustrates dragging the hyperlink onto Firefox’s favorites toolbar.
To install, drag this hyperlink onto your favorites toolbar: Scan w/ Zoompf!

All done! Now whenever you want to test the performance of the web page you are currently viewing in your web browser, just click “Scan w/ Zoompf” to spawn the Zoompf dialog.
Internet Explorer
Internet Explorer does not allow you to drag special hyperlinks containing JavaScript directly onto your favorites toolbar. Instead, you will need to follow these instructions.
To install Zoompf’s Scanning Bookmarklet for Internet Explorer, you will be adding this hyperlink to your favorites: Scan w/ Zoompf!
To begin right click on the “Scan w/ Zoompf” bookmark after this paragraph and select “Add to Favorites” from the context menu as shown below.

Since Zoompf’s Scanning Bookmarklet contains JavaScript Internet Explorer will display a security warning as shown below. Don’t worry! It’s perfectly safe. Click “yes.”

To make sure you can easily access the scanning bookmark, you will want to add the bookmark to IE’s favorites toolbar. To do this, you should select “Favorites Bar” from the “Create In” drop drown menu as shown below.

Zoompf’s Scanning Bookmarklet will now appear on your toolbar as shown below.

That’s it! Now you are ready to use Zoompf’s Scanning Bookmarklet. Whenever you want to test the performance of the web page you are currently viewing in your web browser, just click “Scan w/ Zoompf” to spawn the Zoompf dialog.
